Kevin McGee & Friends by Kevin McGee is a tight and well rounded project consisting of various guest appearances of fellow independent emcees, no slot is wasted and everyone comes correct throughout the album. Nearly every track is under four minutes and do not overstay their welcome’s which is something that is to be appreciated in an era of artists throwing out longwinded songs that go nowhere, Kevin is a dope rapper and would personally love to hear more from him in the future. Throughout the album Kevin is not overshadowed by his collaborators, but instead he and his fellow emcee’s compliment and accentuate each other like an impeccable meal with a fine wine and a really nice desert.

The constant of this album is stunting on naysayers/haters and balling on all

those who proclaim doubt and being able to flex no matter the situation. This album is a complete team effort it completely shows throughout all the twelve songs featured on this project it’s truly a great effort all killer, no filler.
